He was predeceased by: his mother Lois Gilbert; and his grandparents, Bill, Lois Myers and Gerald Gilbert (Fats). He is survived by: his father Jerry Gilbert (Cindy); his siblings, Tim Gilbert and Debbie Van Valkenburg (Andy); his grandmother Joyce Gilbert (Cyn Fontanez); his son Austin Gilbert; his nephews, Justin and Grayson; and his niece Hanna. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
