He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fleming and Elizabeth Fleming; and his brothers, George, Daniel and Richard Fleming.

He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Florek (Michael) and Kimberly Opstad (Erik); his grandchildren, Julie Florek and Henry Opstad; his girlfriend Nora Cutlip; and his girlfriend's children, Laurie Cutlip, Leigh DiRenzo, Lynnette Cutlip and Kristen Raymond. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
