He was predeceased by: his parents, Luigi Tarantino and Pauline Nessmar Tarantino; his former wife Agnes Tarantino; and his daughters, LuAnn Tarantino and Lisa Naylor.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Bednar Tarantino; his brother Rob; and his sister-in-law Lynne Rohland of Rostraver. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
