He was predeceased by: his parents, William Deist and Nettie Deist (Poorbaugh); his brother Freeman Deist; and his son-in-law Rick Sechler. He is survived by: his wife Edna Miller; his sister Margaret Jane Ayers of Poland; his children, Dale (Barbara), Arthur (Diane) and Audrey Deist-Sechler; and his grandchildren, Kristen Wilson (Matthew), Carrilyn Holden (Jeff), David Deist (Theresa), Brianna Leatham (Matthew), Summer Robinson, Corey Sechler (Jessica), Julie Huston (Jason), Jamie Sechler (Leila), Jessica, Jaclyn and Kathryn Eisel.
Per state mandate, masks and social distancing are recommended.
