She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Thompson Fulton (Tyree) and Junior Thompson; her significant other George W. Beard; her brother James; and her sister-in-law Judy Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Wood (Robert), Gary Beard (Kay) and Linda Prenger (Richard); her grandchildren, Brad, Lauri, Kiersten, Katie, Allison, Laura, Ryan and Danny; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Jaxon, Addilyn and Claire.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Organization (lbda.org) in memory of Shirley.
