She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Taylor and Nellie Irene Taylor; her brothers, Robert and Donald Taylor; her daughter Peggy Hartman; and her husband Benny M. Akers.

She is survived by: her siblings, Marilyn Thomas and Russell Taylor; her daughters, Frances (Thomas), Garnetta (Martin) and Christina Bucher; and her son-in-law Russell Hartman. She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 13 East Main Street, Fairfield, PA 17320.
