He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Augustus and Lois Waybright Smith. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Doyle Smith; his children, Sonja Brown (Ken), Jacob Smith (Christy) and Benjamin Smith (Abby); his stepdaughter Katie Doyle (William Denell); his grandchildren, Kennedy, Stratton, Riley, Garrett, Jackson, Hayden and Kellan; and his siblings, Carole Smith, Jamie Shaffer (Gary), Gary (Kathy), Kirby (Vicki), Bradley (Cyndi), Eric (Colleen), Brent (Karen), Judy Wilson (Steve), Kirk (Amy), Perry (Joanne) and Sheldon (Nancy). He is also survived by 35 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Adams County Rescue Mission (2515 York Rd, Gettysburg, PA 17325 or online at https://www.adamsrescuemission.org) to continue Randy's legacy of community service.
