It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David E. McDannell of Fairfield, Pennsylvania, born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne McDannell and Ruth McDannell (Kepner); his grandson Brent Kauffman; and his brother Wayne McDannell. He is survived by: his wife Dolly A. McDannell (Naugle) of Fairfield; his children, Beth Fisher (Lonnie) of Fairfield, PA, Sherry Bonner (Greg) of Waynesboro, PA and Todd Naugle of Quincy, PA; his grandchildren, Isaiah O'Connor, Kennedy McDannell, Kelby Kauffman, Rethea Baker and Erin Izer; and his sisters, Deborah Weidner (Richard) of Gardners, PA and Linda Taylor (Roger) of Biglerville, PA.. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
