She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gesso and Rose Lucosh Gesso; her husband Lawrence Mervay; and her siblings, Irene, Marge and John.

She is survived by: her brother Paul Gesso (Norma) of San Jose, CA; and her sister-in-law Dolores of Uniontown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
