He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis C. Scala and Marilyn J. Ertle Scala. He is survived by: his son Kyle; and his brothers, Joseph (Robin) of Factoryville and Jay (Sandy) of Nicholson. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
