With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Gurdak of Factoryville, Pennsylvania, born in Luzerne, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 27, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gurdak and Lottie Gurdak (Zipko). He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Gurdak (Aguipo); his children, John Gurdak (Melissa) and Katrina Gurdak (Noelle Oh); his sisters, Dolores Koepke (Bill), Sandy Gurdak and Ann Heiser; his grandson Hayden Gurdak; his niece Heidi Koepke; and his great-nephew Jayden Ramos.

The military honors was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church (99 E Tioga St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657).
