He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster J. Sankey and Katherine Sankey; and his sisters, Margaret, Katherine and Helen.
He is survived by: his wife Susan B. Sankey; his son John Sankey; his former wife Winifred Sankey; his grandchildren, Jessica, Megan, Samantha, Alison Corey and Shelby; and also Michael Sankey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
