He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Mary Shinko; and his parents, Walter Shinko and Lorraine Shinko (Grantoski). He is survived by: his children, Carl V. Shinko, Mary Gerrity (Mike), Kate Shinko (Len Kalechitz) and Anne Marie Shinko; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Sean Gerrity.
