He is survived by: his son Alan Jr. (Janice) of Factoryville; his wife Sharon Scango; his daughter Sheryl Scango of Factoryville; his grandchildren, Sage Hofmeister, Duran Hofmeister and Jacob Scango; and his brothers, Victor (Rose Scango) of Maryland and Mark (Darlene Scango) of Factoryville.
