She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henry Ammon, Sr. and Lillian Kathryn Ammon; and her husband Robert P. Deist, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Deist (Elizabeth Moncure), Robert P. Deist, Jr. (Linda) and Dieter Muller (Judy Garrison); her niece Amanda O'Brien; and her nephew Charles H. Ammon, III.
