She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Simonin and Jean Simonin (Thornburg); and her brother Jay Simonin. She is survived by: her children, Tracy DeRocco-Buckley (Joseph Bellace) of Exton, Drew DeRocco (Meredith Branca) of Chester Springs and Christopher DeRocco (Susanna) of Baltimore, MD; her grandchildren, Joshua, Rachel (Chris), Benjamin, Madeline, Peyton and Griffin; and her friends, Nala, Lenny, Louie, Sydney, Mike, Pepper and Meg.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances to her most beloved friends (Nala, Lenny, Louie, Sydney, Mike, Pepper and Meg), may be made in Julia's name via memorial contributions to the ASPCA.
