She was predeceased by: her spouse Otto F. Bender; and her parents, Peter Mullen and Sophie Klanavage Mullen. She is survived by: her children, Mark Bender (Joan) of Midlothian, Virginia, Gary Bender (Michele) of Downingtown and Alan Bender of Alpharetta, Georgia. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
