He is survived by: his parent Winifred Comer Toolan; his children, Mark Toolan (Janet), Barbara Smith, Steven Toolan and Matthew Toolan (Khristian); his sisters, Sally Bradley and Patricia Donohue (Joe); his grandchildren, Christy, Katie, Lauren, Jenny, Brian, Michael, Madison, Liam, Andrew, Nicholas and Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Aly, Meghan, Olivia, Maximus and Vaughn.
