He is survived by: his wife Donna Barnett Slayton; his children, Joslyn Mackey, Deionna Slayton (Olajuwon), Danae Slayton and Dayron Bowers; his daughter-in-law Jade Bowers; his grandchildren, Ja'Derrah, Alexis, Janae, Lyla, Ivory and Crù; his great grandchild Tahani; his sister Cynthia Mayo; and his brothers-in-law, Timothy Barnett and Tommy Barnett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
