Someone wrote a sympathy message

“Dan and I have always been good friends since we first met in 1977 as grad students at Temple. So glad we were able to get together last year with Kathy and Joanne to get caught up. It was just like the old days! Dan was a great person, loved by all who knew him, and will never be forgotten. His memory lives on.”

Jim Conroy wrote a sympathy message

“Dan was a great friend since the late 1970s at temple university. His phd work was done, with me, on the experiences and perceptions of the families of the people who left the pennhurst institution for new homes in our communities. We stayed close through careers and life changes, always committed to supporting people with disabilities in our society. His life healed and helped many thousands. I honor his fine work and family.
