With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard J. McElvenny of Exton, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 18, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. McElvenny and Mary L. McElvenny; and his brother John P. "Jack" McElvenny (late Anne). He is survived by: his sister Mary Owen (late Ron); and his nieces and nephews, John McElvenny III (Linda), Eileen Gatti (Bernie), Patricia Mueller (Rich), Kate McElvenny, Mary "Mimi" McCue (Jack), Ronald Owen (Kathy) and Maureen Umehara (Mike). He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be a private Funeral Mass for Bernie at Visitation BVM Church, and a private burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
