With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leah Ventura (Export, Pennsylvania), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Leah left this world on February 23, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland C. Raymaley and Leah M. Raymaley; her husband Hector; her children, Lola and Gary; her grandson Jayson; and her siblings, Chalmers, Ruthie, Betty, Elinor and Gracie.
She is survived by: her children, Leah Marr (Ron) of Ligonier, PA and Chris (Dale) of Ellicott City, MD.; her grandchildren, Meredith McCandless (late Jim) of Severn, MD, Dominic Ventura (Kate) of New Market, MD, Anthony Ventura (Beth) of Glastonbury, CT and David Marr (Caitlin) of San Antonio, TX; her great grandchildren, Claudia, Sarah, Georgia McCandless, Rosemary, Patrick, Ava and Hunter Ventura; and her sisters, Shirley Raymaley and Maggie Mullinex. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wolfe-Von Geis Funeral Home (5701 Lincoln Ave, Export, PA 15632). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
