He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hiram Metzgar and Edith Metzgar (George); and his wife Judith McDivitt of Bell Township. He is survived by: his children, Thomas J. Metzgar (Kimberly), James C. Metzgar and Heather L. Metzgar; his grandson Paul R. Carson (Allison); his great grandchildren, Rowan and Elliot Carson; and his brother George F. Metzgar.
