He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Sr. Daugherty and Mary Anna Daugherty (Pritts); his brother Richard "Dick" Daugherty; and his son-in-law Marc Holnaider. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia L. "Cindy" Daugherty (Visnick) of Export; his children, James H. Daugherty III (Helen) of Derry, Christian W. Daugherty of New Alexandria, Tracy N. Slezak (Aaron) of New Alexandria, Casey L. Holnaider of Derry, Mary L. Aikins (Barry) of Blairsville, Jesse R. Hempel (April) of East Butler and Jason R. Hempel of Manor; his brother David D. Daugherty of Wilmerding; his father-in-law Robert Visnick of Export; and his aunt Rosetta Biondich of Apollo. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
