He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel DeSanto and Millie Spilka DeSanto; and his former wife Gaynelle Hager DeSanto. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" J. DeSanto; his brother Robert S. DeSanto (Polly) of Waterford, CT; his stepchildren, Patricia, Robert D. Ferry (Becky) and Diane Burger; and his stepgrandchildren, Taylor, Daniel, Joshua Ferry, Caleb, Jacob Ferry, Michael, Jessica Guthrie, Angela Freeman, Jill Sullivan, Tiffany, Larry H., Molly and Cassandra Gasbarrini. He is also survived by several step greatgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Dr. Daniel DeSanto's name.
