He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. Burns and Kathryn Reed. He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Reed (Weand); his daughters, Tami L. Mengel (Richard B. Mengel) of Reading and Kristi M. Reichart of Reading; his grandchildren, Ryan Klein, Andrew Klein, Owen Steiger, Brooke Steiger, MaryEllen Reichart and Matthew Reichart; his stepgrandchildren, Ricky Mengel and Ryan Mengel; and his brother David E. Harpel.
