He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Staub and Anna Staub (Heirt); his stepmother Elizabeth Staub; and his siblings, Rosalie Staub, Catherine Edginton and James Griffies.

He is survived by: his wife Marie R. Staub (Mynehan); his son John Staub (Denise) of Limerick, PA.; his grandchildren, John M. Staub (Maggie) and Brittany Kitchens (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Kailey Staub, Matthew Staub, Charlotte Staub and Brayden Kitchens.
