James Bitting Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Bitting of Exeter Township, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 22, 2024 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Bitting to pay them a last tribute.
As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry M. Bitting and Grace Bitting (McDevitt); and his sisters, Vivian and Emma "Pat". He is survived by: his sons, Scott James Bitting (Cathy) of Danville, PA and Mark James Bitting of Wyomissing. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren, and ten step-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. (2100 Perkiomen Ave, Mt Penn, PA 19606). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Forest Hills Memorial Park (390 W Neversink Rd, Reading, PA 19606).
