He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Hughes and Rosaline P. Hughes (Porter). He is survived by: his spouse Michele Hughes (Czarnecki); his children, Rebecca (Andreas Brown), Brittany Hughes (Matt Sykes), Shannon Hughes and Alexandria (Shane Kelly); and his stepsons, Steve Walls (Symantha) and Christopher Walls (Kelly). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two sisters.
