James Shaffer Sr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Shaffer Sr. of Everson, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shaffer and Mary Jane Chambers; his wife Veronica "Verna" Martinosky Shaffer; and his sister Helen McCormack. He is survived by: his children, Theresa A. Monahan (Jeff) of Connellsville, Evelyn M. Connors (Tom) of Scottdale, Dorothy J. Stauffer (Bill) of Apollo, Mary J. Pawlak (Ted) of Penn Hills and James R. Shaffer, Jr. (Chris) of Connellsville, His; and his granddaughters, Sara Westbrook (Aaron) and Emily Monahan (Ryley Anderson).
