He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl King and Martha King (Imes); his wife Sharon Jean King (Devine); and his sister Beth Patt. He is survived by: his daughters, Gretchen M. (Kerry Burke) of Saxton and Jillian R. (Jeremy Brown) of Saxton; his grandchildren, Ansley, Mason and River; his siblings, Beverly (Eric Easton), Everett, Becky (Larry Phillip), Berlin and Billie Jo (Ray Dunkle) of Mechanicsville, VA; and his brother-in-law Frank Patt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Steve to the American Heart Association.
