He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Norma Arlene Kurtz (Rodgers); his wife Linda A. Kurtz (Woods); his stepson Bill Fisher; and his brother Roger E. Kurtz.
He is survived by: his son Travis Kurtz; his stepsons, Bob Fisher and Brian Fisher; and his daughter-in-law Salina Reese.
