She was predeceased by: her father Dwight Fink; her husband Melvin E. Mearkle; her siblings, John Casteel and Sara Shimer; and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Mearkle.
She is survived by: her children, Rickey Mearkle (Aimee) of England and Cynthia Musselman (Donald); her grandchildren, Daniel Mearkle (Nicola), Jason Musselman (Margaret), Dr. Rachel Mearkle-Mist (Paul), Dr. David Mearkle (Anusha) and Caleb Musselman (Theresa); and her great grandchildren, Jessica, William Mearkle, Sumer, Abbott, Otto, Reed Musselman, Elizabeth, Ethan Mearkle-Mist, Jesse and Raffy Mearkle.
