He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Auther and Mary Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Edna G. Armstrong; his children, Donald Armstrong of Everett, Denise Youngblood of Hedgesville, Heather Starliper of Hancock and Amanda Smith of Chambersburg; and his siblings, Donald, Fred and Pearl. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
