He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Shipley and Wilma Ihrie Shipley (Barnes); his son Donald S. Shipley; and his sister Susan Mathis (Shipley). He is survived by: his children, Christy Thomas (Jeffery) of Princeton, NC, Earl D. "Bobby" Shipley (Mia) and Dustin E. Shipley of Breezewood, PA; his grandchildren, Jesse Shipley (Tia), Jade Shipley and Nicholas Breisch; his great grandchildren, Ryker Shipley, Evelyn Shipley and Elias Shipley; and his brother Robert Shipley (Lorraine).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Akers Funeral Home (299 Raystown Rd, Everett, PA 15537). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
