She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Barnes; and her siblings, Sandra M. Spade-Fetter (Dean Fetter) of Everett, Darrel L. (Deborah "Debbie" J.), Waneta S. (Michael Boore) of Bedford, Larry R. Beegle of Everett, Shane F. (Heidi) and Mark E. (Brenda).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Joyce D. Barnes to Samaritan's Purse: PO Box 3000, Boone, NC. 28607.
