She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Layton and Vivian Layton (Rice); her husband Ralph O. Swartzwelder; and her siblings, John Layton, Ferne Foor and Ralph Layton.
She is survived by: her sister Patty Weimer of Everett. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
