She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Beegle and Mildred Beegle (Mellott); her husband John Sherman Grimes; her daughter Kathy Lynn; her grandson Mark Michael Barnes; her great grandchild Amelia Lynn Donaldson; and her siblings, Roger Beegle and Sara Hayward.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon R. Barnes (Marshall "Mark"), Everett, Steven J. Grimes (Cynthia), Bedford, Mark J. Grimes (Linda), Thomas S. Grimes and Betsy J. Wright (Thomas); her grandchildren, Gabriel Barnes, Caleb Grimes (Sydney), Hannah Twigg (Jake), Joshua Grimes (Katelyn), Lydia Donaldson (Timothy), Ryan Wright, Rebecca Wright and Rylejohn Wright; her great grandchildren, John Twigg and David Twigg; and her sister Marjorie Smiley.
