It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Ruth (Warsing) Garlock of Everett, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Floyd and Elsie Warsing (Trout) of Sherman's Valley; her parents, John Nelson Warsing, Sr. and Pearl Mildred Warsing (Brantner); her husband Larry W. Garlock; her grandparents, George and Alice Brantner (Hockeberry); her brother Daniel Edward Warsing; and her brother-in-law Eldon Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Kandy L. (Dana Troutman) and Mathew L. Garlock (Darcy); her grandsons, Brook, River, Hunter and Chase; her siblings, Alice Georgine (David O'Brien), Bedford, Martha Hall, Mildred (Donald Weaver) of Marianna, PA, John Nelson Warsing, Jr. (Harriet), Lyda Taylor, Everett, Susan (Sebert Weist), Julia (Bob Layman), Margaret Teeters and Patricia Stallings (Herb) of Bertrand, MS; and her cousin Bobby Warsing of Pensacola, FL.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
