She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Friend Steele and Martha Elizabeth Steele (Hetrick); her son Jeffrey L. Hawkins; and her siblings, Ross C. Steele, Galen D. Steele, Fred E. Steele and Jean Steele (Richard Foreman).
She is survived by: her son Gregory Hawkins; her daughter-in-law Connie; her grandchildren, Dain Hawkins and Christie Horn; her brothers, Ivan A. Steele (Dee) and Marlin Steele (Bonnie); her great grandchildren, Emily Horn and Brenna Becker; and her pet Nellie.
Due to Covid19; funeral services will be private.
