He was predeceased by: his father Lee Hughes; his stepfather Frank Catanese; and his spouse Wanetia McDonald. He is survived by: his mother Mabel Catanese (Morningstar); his son Tyler Hughes; his stepdaughter Monica Barton (Keith); and his brothers, Lee Hughes, Matthew Hughes (Greta) and David.
