He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Lucas and Minnie Clay Lucas; and his siblings, Verner Lucas and Wilda Carter. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Eplin Lucas; his children, Diane Klinefelter (Jack) of Cranberry Twp and Lonnie Lucas (Marilyn) of Butler; and his grandchildren, Michelle, Joe, Deb and Lonnie Jr.. He is also survived by his nine great-grandchildren.
