It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald W. McElhinny (Evans City, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 17, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. McElhinny and Elizabeth Hutchinson McElhinny; and his wife Mildred "Millie" Dague McElhinny. He is survived by: his children, Joan E. Hatfield (Geary) of Butler, Michael McElhinny (Laura Pushak) of Butler, Joseph McElhinny (Vonda) of Butler and James McElhinny of Evans City; his siblings, Betsy Darling of New York, Patrice Hughes (William) of Del, Jerome McElhinny (Marilyn) of Evans City, Zeno McElhinny (Becky) of Evans City and John McElhinny (Carole) of Evans City; and his close friend Betty Lubbert of Valencia. He is also survived by eight Grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The family has suggested memorial donations be made to The 4-H , Butler Co. Youth, c/o Jean H. Kummer, Penn State Ext., 101 Motor Pool Way, Butler, PA 16001.
