He is survived by: his wife Babs Welka (Mentkowski); his daughter Stephanie Rice (Welka); his stepson Adam Thomas; his grandchild Sapphire; his stepgrandchildren, Alexis, Mason, Landon, Hayleyawna, Chelbie and Albie; and his sisters, Nancy Stokes (Richard) and Donna Marsonek (Scott). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
