With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jo Schoeffel (Evans City, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 28, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary Jo may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Jo touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry "Dutch" Schoeffel and JoHanna Milheim Schoeffel; and her nephew Jeffrey Knauff. She is survived by: her children, Kristan Muir and Gregory Muir (Irene); her sister Sandra Knauff (George) of Zelienople; her grandson Max; her nephew Randy Knauff; her great-nieces, Karla Miller (Steve) and Katelyn Knauff; and also Khloe.
