He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Zimmerman and Agnes Wagner Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Ruth Zimmerman (Lipp); his son Louis Zimmerman Jr. of Connoquenessing; his grandchildren, Skyler Anne and Makenzie Diane Zimmerman; and his sister Lilian Alexander of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Connoquenessing VFC, PO Box 242, Connoquenessing, PA 16027 or to St. Gregory Catholic Church.
