He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. McKinney and Ellen Eicher McKinney; and his sister Shirley Spurk. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Calabrese McKinney; his children, Jennifer Kerr (Christopher) of Sewickley and John M. McKinney (Daniela) of Coraopolis; his granddaughters, Sophia and Isabella McKinney; and his brother Thomas R. McKinney (Carmen) of Oklahoma. He is also survived by his sisters.
