It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice M. Hicks of Evans City, Pennsylvania, born in Beaver, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert A. Rassman and Edna A. Ladebue Rassman; her husband Kenneth E. Hicks, Sr.; and her siblings, John Rassman, Robert Rassman, Richard Rassman, Betty Arbogast, Mary Magness and Edna Nastasi.

She is survived by: her children, Debra Loper (Dave), Kenneth E. Hicks, Jr. (Carole), Jeffrey Hicks (Pamela) and Beatrice Green (Tim) of Evans City; her grandchildren, Dan Loper, Mike Loper (Zoly), Andrew Loper (Jacky), Aaron Hicks (Danielle), Jeremy Hicks, Justin Hicks (Giselle), Joshua Hicks and Danielle Ritenour (Austin); her great grandchildren, Luna, Emery, Everly, Briley and Salma; and her brother Joseph Rassman (Jeanne) of Butler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations can be made in Janice's honor to St. John's United Church of Christ in Evans City.
