He was predeceased by: his parents, David VanDyke and Marian Clare Rea VanDyke; his son David L. VanDyke; and his granddaughter Jennifer VanDyke. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Snider VanDyke; his children, Cathy Ann Williams (Fred) of Connoquenessing, Mark E. VanDyke (Cindy) of Shippenville and Stephen B. VanDyke (Robin) of Evans City; and his daughter-in-law Linda Sahli VanDyke. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; his six great-grandchildren.
