She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Smith and Alice Scott Smith. She is survived by: her children, Angela Rankin (John), Carol Bartos (Tom), Linda Vannatta, Mark Nagle, Gina Salinas and Melinda Verdell (Stephen). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
